Archived from the IMDb Discussion Forums — Roger Rees

Roger Rees has not yet been credited with his final performance as William Bradford in the PBS/Ric Burns documentary, "The Pilgrims." He has not yet been credited, and I full of rage.

They did run a "In Memory of" in the version that aired here on the West Coast. What a stunning performance! My family were transfixed by his reading, and then saddened that he has passed away.

dmavendor, I'm not sure if you mean at the end of the show, or on imdb. Actually, he IS credited in two places at imdb: under his name, he is credited under Self (don't know why he's not listed under Actor), and under the title, he is credited in the cast, as portraying William Bradford.
I didn't notice what the credits said at the end of the show: I was too shocked to see "In Memory of Roger Rees (1944 - 2015)" passing by.
I hope he is happy somewhere in the great flow of all in all, whatever is.

I think it is inappropriate for him to be credited as "self" rather than as "actor." He was clearly playing the role of William Bradford.
