They brought back the character of "Tommy Doyle" so why didn't they bring back "Lindsey Wallace" and let her reprise the role.

She is the only character not to be expanded in a bigger role in further Halloween Movies
Her character was in Part 4 briefly but played by a new character.
I think it would be cool to bring her back even as a cameo in another installment maybe as the opening victim like Nancy Stephens (Marion from part 1& 2) did in H20.

Thats right, I forgot Lindsay was in 4, but was it the same character? or just same name. I bet the writers meant for it to be Lindsay Wallace grown up
