Having just finished the Cursed Child, it is very clear that JK has lost not only her marbles, but respect for her own world. Oh she didn't write it so it's not her fault? Maybe it's her fault because SHE DIDN'T CARE ABOUT WRITING IT!!!!! I don't throw out the phrase "cash grab" often but the future of HP is just that, a cash grab. The only thing good from Cursed Child is the whole "harry was a lucky idiot" view is proven wrong once we see how stupid and selfish his kid is.
This series was perfect. All 7 books were excellent and the mov5b4ies were great visual representation of the story. But you teeny bopper fans couldn't shut up. you bugged JK for more and more. You wrote terrible fan fiction and severely misunderstood Neville's relation to the prophecy and even though Dumbledore clearly explained it all, you warped him and turned it into a "fan theory". Not to mention all the other stupid fan theories that are easily debunked by the books (that you didn't pay attention to). You stopped re-reading again and again after Goblet of fire and were content with the movies alone.
Well internet Potter fans, you have won. The series is going to become just as dumb as you wanted it to be. While I lay blame on Joanne Rowling, you second year Potter fans are the real people to hold accountable.
The comparisons to poke-go, jumanji and goosebumps are just. This film is likely going to be watered down diet harry potter.
Don't call me a hater or a troll. My views are negative and will piss people off, but it is motivated by my love of the story that I have grown with since 1999.
If it's good, I will gladly admit it. But after the cursed child, it is not likely we fans will be treated with respect. -

It was never a perfect series so your premise is incorrect from the start. Chamber of Secrets is largely completely redundant, recycling the "Voldemort found a way to return!" plot from the first book in a vastly less interesting way. And everything that happens is essentially "fixed" by the end, making for a book that ultimately serves no purpose. You could skip from the first book directly to Prisoner of Azkaban and essentially miss absolutely nothing. Beyond that Goblet of Fire is way too long, Order of the Phoenix spends the majority of it's page count on useless high school soap opera nonsense, and nothing happens in the entirety of Half Blood Prince until the last 100 pages.

A good series but not perfect. And if you appreciate it so much, why not praise JK Rowling for writing it instead of heaping abuse on her?

How do you know whether you people are re-reading HP books or not? Even if they are not, it is hardly a crime. There are lots of other books in the world you know.

The play is goof actually. But you were so busy ranting about your weird prejudices, you barely discuss it. -

How can this stupid weird story they made be canon?
Voldemort having a child with Bellatrix..It sounds so stupid.
I mean maybe its possible, But why make it canon?
Him being a father makes his character less scarier.
And Bellatrix is also not a mother figure.
It doesn't fit with the rest of the story.
Maybe Delphine lied and she just thinks she is their daughter. Maybe she is just an crazy fangirl of voldemort like Bellatrix was.
Ugh its all so weird, I don't understand why some people are oke with this or even love it.cause for me it ruins a bit of the original story.
