If America had a moderate in office this country may have a chance in the future. But alas, everyone is either ultral-liberal or ultra-conservative. In fifty years, America will be a cespool of corruption and lies. I have already planned to leave the country by the time I retire. I will be very suprized if the US isn't messed up fifty years from now.

Incidentally, Jackie K, your research may be a bit lacking. "This country" is based on intelligent dissent. Speaking as a relict of the first and second Jamestown reliefs AND the Mayflower, I must recommend your reading both the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution before making this sort of statement. Blind adherence is not loyalty; intelligent participation the public discourse dis.

I'm reminded of Beyond The Fringe as they (as English people) look across the pond:
