The book is nasty, spiteful, vituperative, vitriolic and slanderous. It was written by a talentless wannabe who was jealous of John's success and who he claims was his "best friend". Well Richard Jensen was a lousy "best friend" if the only thing he could think to do was write a horrible book about a good man.
If you like John the book will make you feel sick and very, very angry. It's poorly written and Richard Jensen puts John in a bad light whenever possible, always putting himself in a good light.
It's not worth wasting your money donate it to the Children's Miracle Telethon instead. At least that way you will be doing some good, instead of making a horrible, bitter and twisted man richer.
I agree with Phoenix, please DON'T buy this book. -

I have been out of this conversation for a few days as I have been in Memphis as John's guest for his red carpet premiere of "Collier & Co.". Believe me, he is NOT the person described in that book. PLEASE don't buy or read that book. I won't even give the title of it or the author's name. He doesn't deserve any recognition. But I was treated like a queen by John and Elly for three wonderful days in Memphis. Whatda0 a man he is! And the movie is delightful. Call your local theater and ask for "Collier & Co.". You won't be disappointed.

I haven't read this garbage and won't but I still have some misgivings about it all. First of all, if John really went to the trouble of doing the things he said to show the bulge, it worked. And, it had a lot to do with the popularity of the show. And, even with the zipper shortened and no underwear, you still have to have something to show for the trouble, so where there's smoke there's fire. Besides how did that guy know what John had or did not have? Inquiring minds want to know. This book may have helped John out a lot.

The only thing this book has helped out is the bank balance of a nasty, spiteful wannabe.
There is no way that a book that was only written to discredit a good man could have ever helped him out.
This deeply unpleasant author has used2000 every opportunity to put John in a bad light while puffing up his own self conceit and self importance.
The only place that this book should belong is in the same garbage can that the author obviously lives in.
