How is her last name pronounced?

I pronouced with the S and C making a sound, kind of like sky
SC. and then I just sound out the oelen, there is a H but I don't pronouce that part.
SC-OELEN is how I pronouse it. I would be intrested in seeing how it is really pronouced.

I always assumed it was an Americanization of a German name, the oe replacing an o with umlauts over it. So then they've also dropped the ancestral pronunciation? How sad.

are you sure it's Sho-len? I always pronounced like Shoe- lin. I actually got to meet Jill yesterday at Horror Hound weekend in Cincinnati and can't believe I forgot to ask her how to pronounce her last name. She was so, so nice though.
