I have a soft spot in my heart for "Take A Hand." That was the first Rick Springfield song I ever played over and over, on purpose (I was 10, and the song was on a K-Tel compilation album my mother had bought called "Hit Machine").
But I think my all time favorite RS song might be "Every Night I Wake Up Screaming" from 2004's
        shock/denial/anger/acceptance
. Or maybe "Alien Virus," from that same album. Or is it "Souls" from
        Living In Oz
        ?
        I can't decide.

I forgot all about "Take A Hand"! I really like that one too.
"You Can Really Do It (If you try)" was another one that I used to play constantly. It's so catchy.

I think it is virtually impossible to choose a favorite Rick tune because he has so many diverse songs. From the slow, sultry "Woman" (Rock of Life) cd to the angry "Jesus Saves" (SDAA) cd to the uplifting "Eden" (SDAA) to the gut wrenching "My Father's Chair" (Tao). Rick has shown us through the years that he can sing about most anything and sound great doing it. He can even record a cover album and make the songs sound better than the originals.

I think I like WRITTEN IN ROCK or BORN OUT OF TIME the best, maybe STILL CRAZY FOR YOU. Of the hits, I prefer DON'T TALK TO STRANGERS, LOVE SOMEBODY, HUMAN TOUCH, HONEYMOON IN BEIRUT, and AFFAIR OF THE HEART.

Hard to choose from so many, but if you see him in concert singing Jesus Saves (a very powerful rock song) you will understand why I pick this as one of my favorites. He sings this song out in the crowd, and it is a highlight to many.
The song is off his Shock Denial Anger Acceptance cdhis last Original cd. He is due out with a new on this spring/summer.

Of course, I love Jessie's Girl, but I think my fave is "Angels of the Disappeared"

Well, I seem to be out by myself on this one but my two favourites are "Livin' In Oz" and "Me and Johnny" but maybe this is because I'm Australian

I just saw Rick in concert tonight, at the American Music Theater in Lancaster, PA. He put on a great show. My two favorite songs by Rick have always been Jesse's Girl, and Love Somebody.
