Rick Springfield hopes to recapture his glorious days and has just released the CD "Venus in Overdrive."
Here's what his official website says about the onetime heartthrob: "Over 18 million records sold worldwide 17 Top 40 Hits to date, including more than 5 in the Top 10."
I'm glad he's keeping us informed because I always thought he was a one-hit-wonder who scored it big in the early '80s with "Jessie's Girl."
Will the youthful 58-year-old once again be able to get the hearts of his now middle-aged fan base to flutter?

I just saw him in concert at an amphitheatre in Metro Atlanta on Sat. night and he was awesome. He looked soooooo good- his shoulders and arms are amazing. He performed a couple of songs from his latest album along with all his hits. He came out into the crowd and interacted with the audience. I love him and I'm almost 45 years old!!

Never a one hit wonder. But a very talented song writer, and musician.
He actually has been constantly touring for many years now. He did take a break when his kids were born. He wanted to be there with them.
Rick usually does 100 shows a year. And his shows NEVER disappoint. He can Rock like any mid 20 year old. Seriously his shows are a MUST DO!.
You will leave with a totally new respect for the man.
And what is really coolhe is having a CRUISE for his fans this NOV. And I will be there! Many showsand even a BEACH bonfire party!
This cd also includes a very special Booklet.of FAN PICS! I did not make the cut (they picked radomly from the ones we sent in), but I am on the link they made!
Take a listen to VIO..you won't be disappointed.
