I would say that she was in her prime in the 1960's, especially looks-wise, but by the time she did Silent Scream in 1980, she was only about 43 years old by then (as a kid you think that is SO 'old'! You get older an realize, she was STILL hot at 43 and that it's really NOT so 'old'!), and should have done 3-4 films a year through-out the '80's; Sadly, she kind of faded away fro awhile. But as other's have stated here, Try Piranha, Silent Scream, Caged Heat, Pit and the Pendulum
I need to see Nightmare Castle & Black Sunday.
I also have Shivers but haven't watched it in years, so that's next in the VCR!
And I can't wait for her new one, I just hope it hits the theatre screens and is not direct-to-video!

I felt so sorry for Barbara Steele during the bathtub scene in "Shivers." I have an interview with Ms. Steele where she openly admits she hated doing that particular scene.
Q: What's the biggest room in the world? A: The room for improvement.

Black Sunday is something you need to see! It is a great movie- scare me when I was a young girl. The Dark Shadows was good even thourgh it is a tv show- she played two play two parts, Dr. Julia Hoffman and Josette's mother. Nightmare Castle was good too.

Funny, but 'Shivers' was on cable last night! I'm wondering if 'Shivers' is/was also known as 'Rabid', by Cronenberg?

No. Actually, "Shivers" and "Rabid" are two different films by Cronenberg.

Ah yes, I know that now! I guess I was just thinking it was re-titled, but I was wrong. They both have a similar 'feel' to them, a similar theme and are not as good as other Cronenberg films, but I guess I need to watch them again back to back, to get an idea which one I like better.
I always liked the 'Rabid' cover photo though! Would be cool to have that poster!
