Archived from the IMDb Discussion Forums — Donna Summer

There are some rumors abound that some of Summer's unreleased material may indeed see the light of day at some point in the future (though who knows?).
The unreleased 'duet' of 'Protection' with Springsteen, her version of 'Cover Me' as well as her duet with Springsteen on the same song. One of the songs which have leaked out is this gem"Begin Again" which was written for her never-staged autobiography musical 'Ordinary Girl'.
Here is a link to that song (Pay no attention to the horrible video, just listen to the music!!!):
Paul Ryan's proposal is a budget that goes against the teachings of Jesus.

      Beautiful!
I saw one on youtube with a better sound quality. It's the one with the white squiggles on black background and looks like an annoying screensaver! lol

I always loved Cover Me. I never knew it was written for Donna Summer until years later. I guess Springsteen thought it was too good to give away and had second thoughts. But it would have been a good showcase for Donna's rock vocal skills, which are not fully appreciated by the masses.
