i better make this quick because I don't want justin or puppytaser on my ass about my screen name lol. Anyway back to the topic Ethan Supleehe seems like a really cool guy to be around. I want to be a screenwriter and I would be more than happy to write parts for him. And everyone can be jerks sometimes that's just what humans do. Maybe he was having a bad day or something who knows. well that's my 2 cense.

I disagree. The celebrities have no right to be jerks to their fans. Their fans made them. Without their fans they'd be flipping burgers or something. They wouldn't be rich and screwing supermodels. I'm not saying that the celebrity should act like their best friend but at least sign an autograph or take 5b4a picture. I've met lots of celebrities most have been decent, the only real jerk I've met is David Carradine. Colin Farrell is probably the nicest and most famous celebrity I've met. He was actually humble and appreciative for fans the way a celebrity should be I didn't ask to be his best friend or act like I knew him. I actually called him Mr. Farrell and he was like "No, Colin".

I have found that quite often, people expect fat people to have low self esteem. If they show any sign of confidence, they're seen in a bad light and it's thought "how dare them." Kind of like when you see a short man act aggressive and they're automatically assumed to have Napoleon syndrome, when they're just an angry, short man.

Interesting that this post has gone upI wrote something similar last year on this boardhere is that message:
(2004)
This happened to me while on holiday in New Zealandhe was filming (I think) 'Without a Paddle'
I was having a beer at the bar in my hotel when one of the staff members came up to me and told me to sit down over the other side of the room because 'Mr Suplee was worried about being approached.' I went 'who'?
Apparently he was sitting at a table behind me (I would've recognised him if I had seen him, but my back was to the table) and 'Mr Suplee' was obviously under the delusion that he's a lot bigger star than he thinks he is and asked the staff to give him 'space'. I seriously couldn't give a toss. It wasn't just me who was shifted around, either. Quite a few drinkers had to move their place. It's almost as if they did it so we would know that 'Mr Ethan Suplee' was in the house.
I didn't meet him, and I'm sure he's a lovely person, I kinda enjoy his work (even if he is typecast and such a one-note actor), but that really pissed me off. Isn't my money as good as the film companies? It could be the hotel's issue and not Suplee's, but the impression that I got was that he was throwing his weight around (no pun intended). -

I would almost certainly say that that would be the fault of his manager/and or the bar owner/hotel staff rather than him.
Seems kinds weird TBH. No offence, but it's not like he's Daniel Craig or Tom Cruise. -

Remeber the Titans was actually filmed at my school. I didn't get to be an extra, but my oldest brother who was a sophmore at the time did. He was lucky enough to get front row in the audience, and he tried to talk to the actors. He said a lot of them ignored him, except for Ethan and some other actor who didn't have a big part ine film, (can't remember his name). Anyway, he said he was nice to him, of course he actually got in trouble for talking to him because they weren't aloud to talk to the actors, but he said he was a cool dude.

You're too nice. Not a bad thing, I'd be the same way. Just don't think celebrities are above you because deep down they're regular people like us. I certainly hope you haven't let our society instill this thing in your head that you have to be supercasual, as if meeting a celebrity they'd be doing you a tremendous solid. Seriously, if that's the case, those people are dicks. In short, you or anyone else on this board owe celebrities nothing. If anything, they owe us.

I met him once during the filming of "Remember the Titans" and all I can say is that he smoked alot of cigarettes and didn't talk to us extras at all, as opposed to Donald Faison, who was the friendliest "celebrity" I've ever encountered.
