Then why in the weeks leading up to every presidential election, no matter which party is in office, are gas prices the lowest that they have been the entire year? Pretty much every time it seems. Right now it is less than $3 a gallon by me for the first time in a couple years. Maybe even lowest since pre-election 2020.

I hope this election, one of the candidates is finally going to promise to tax the rich people their fair share and cut taxes on the middle and lower classes. Why hasn't any candidates ever proposed that during previous elections before? -
