Archived from the IMDb Discussion Forums — Michelle Thomas

*My Cousin Alicia had the same exact cancer and for those who don't know, the tumor is very small and rare for girls but once it starts to spread, you're survival chances become slim. She was Diagnosed with it at age 27 in December of 2006 and she had two options. Either get rid of her eggs & take the treatment or let it get worse. In Feb. Or March of 2007 she got the surgery and as of June 2008. She is Cancer free..
Maybe if Michelle wouldn't had waited to late, she'll still be alive.

What do you mean by waited too late?
Do you mean if she would have started treatment earlier instead of trying to have a child, that she'd be alive today?

She waited until she was very ill to start the treatment so yea, their' a HUGE chacne that she might had lived.

Doctors at the time of her death said earlier treatment probably wouldn't have saved Michelle. But this is with the treatment that was available ten years ago. Things may be different now.
