Before reding any further. Please respect other peoples ideas. If you do not agree with them, then give proper arguments and not just say something like "You are the most stupid", "You must be a troll, no good thinking human would say something like that" and so on.
With that being said, now let's get to business
When I watched "The Black Cauldron" by Disney, from 1985, recently, I was a bit let down. I think that it is a good movi2000e, but it actually needed to be more dark, more brutal, and could have been improved in so many ways. For example, I think that it should not have been animated at all. And for the second if a new, non-animated movie would be made, that the horned king should NOT be CGI. CGI doesn't scare people as much as real masks.
Think about the orcs in LOTR and then in The Hobbit. The ones in masks really looked terrifying and like they could smell bad. But the CGI I think I could meet in real life.
SO, I really think that Guillermo could make a really badass Black Cauldron and Doug Jones could be a really creepy horned king.
(No, I haven't read the book, I've just seen the film. I will eventually read the book though but for the moment I am very busy reading three other books.)
So, your thoughts about this? AND what movies do YOU think he should make? -

Personally I would have loved if The Strain were 2-3 movies instead of a TV show so we wouldn't have to wait at least 3 years for the ending, though somehow I feel it'll be four or five seasons, so even longer!

If he really is onboard for the new Silent Hill game, I would love for him to do a third Silent Hill film. It would be right up his alley.
Other films I'd love to see him make based on his touching multiple genres:
Final Fantasy X possibly taking it all the way to FFX-2.5 but skipping a lot of FFX-2's story. Let's face it, if you know about FFX-2.5 then its pretty macabre and not very happy.
Metal Gear Solid I really just want to see Hugh Jackman as Solid Snake. =p
Guardians of Ga'Hoole Even though Kathryn Lasky helped produce the film adaptation of her book series, it was a real let down. They took out so much of the dark material and WWII thematics just to make it a G rated fluffy family movie. If a film adaptation of those books followed the story more closely without changing so many things, and not afraid of a PG-13 rating, it would go over a lot better.
Resident Evil For the love of zombie gawds let this man work his magic on this franchise. It started off so well, and no offense to Wes Anderson, but the addition of Alice and turning her into the ultimate Mary Sue while trying to put in the canon characters with their game roles made a huge mess. Alice sucks. Period. The movies should've stopped at the first one. =x -

He would be perfect to direct a mortal kombat movie imo, a mix of the second hellboy and pan's labyrinth; stylish, dark, 2000lots of weird looking characters and awesome action. He seems to not mind gore too and does it well which is very fitting for a mortal kombat movie.
