Archived from the IMDb Discussion Forums — Aisha Tyler

    seventiesrawk — 10 years ago(October 24, 2015 07:27 AM)

Aisha: "It's awesome for young girls to see the first female hero of Star Wars, Daisy Ridley in the Luke Skywalker role!"
I guess Aisha never saw the original Star Wars trilogy? I seem to recall 35 years ago, Princess Leia fighting alongside the men, blowing up storm troopers and killing Jabba the Hut by herself

Just because she didn't see the original Star Wars trilogy, doesn't mean she sees sexism in anything. It just means she hasn't seen one of the t5b4op movies ever made. Ever.
