It's probably call me crazy, I know! but it's probably because the most prevalent part of American black culture is poisonous, bull$hit crap. It is one of the worst and most absolutely, astonishingly awful of all American cultures. Right up there with vapid shallow spoiled white cnts like Paris Hilton and dip$hit rednecks who're proud of being idiot, closed-minded, know-nothing religious fanatics. This is why I've met so many British blacks who come here and instantly hate American blacks.
So yeah, I'd distance myself from it at every opportunity, too, if I were black and there was the slightest chance someone might mistake me as belonging to such an awful culture. I might even if I were overly tan just in case.
Whether they find life there or not, I think Jupiter should be considered an enemy planet.

Oh,c'monyou're been watching too much negative bull**** about black people in the media,and frankly, you are clearly ignorant as hell about black people's hisotry in the U.S. and our contributions to this country. You're basically doing what other posters have asked people not to do-stereotyping ALL black people because of the negative ones you're heard of. That's just plain stupid and racist as hell. As if white culture dosen't have some truly beep aspects to it. I don't see you saying you're gonna disassociate yourself from white culture simply because virtually ALL the school shootings and the bombing in Boston were done by WHITE men. And there are 38 million black people in this countryyou know damn well we don't all act or think alike,and we sure as hell are not the only people in this country who have issues or commit crime or anything else negative. Black people have always gotten stigmatized more than anybody in the U.S. due to the history 7ecof racism against us in this country, meaning people have ALWAYS been brainwashed to hate us and everything about us simply because we ARE black-that's a holdover from slavery, and from white folks making up bull**** racial theories to justify why they enslaved us in the first damn place.
It kills me how white folks can do all kinds of stupid s***, because they're in the majority, not because they're any better or smarter than anybody else, but nobody says, "well,let's profile ALL weird-looking strange-acting white boys because they might be potential terrorists or school shooters,". I'm black, and frankly, you obviously don't know a damn thing about black Americansand for your information, I have met a couple of British black folks over the years, and they didn't automatically hate me on sight. I even talked to one black gentleman who grew up in England, and he said that the racism over there wasn't all that much different from the racism toward black folks here. So you need to get out, talk to an actual black person, and get rid of your stupid racist assumptions. All cultures have good and bad aspectsso does white American culture, but they don't get stigmatized for every damn thing THEY do. You aren't any better than anybody else just because you're not black,either, so don't lie to yourself. I'm black and proud of myself-YOU just hate black people for no other reason than you are ignorant and uninformed. America was built on the backs of black peoplethis is OUR country,too. I can't believe black people are HATING on Aisha Tyler I find her SO REFRESHING. Aisha is a black woman who is challenging all of the RACIST and SEXIST stereotypes about black women. Aisha is not a sister girl, neck rolling, loudmouth black woman stereotype. Aisha Tyler and Kerry Washington are examples of beautiful sophisticated black women. Aisha is not some stereotype she is her OWN PERSON. I respect Aisha for not being a coon stereotype.

I'm from New Zealand. What's a coon? Apart from racoon, what's the racial reference? I'm reading Aisha Tyler's book, Self-inflicted wounds right now, and she's hilarious. Writing about many of her life experiences, many of them embarrassing, humiliating, and downright painful(Physically). But she learned something each time. She's very self-effacing, and very funny, although I wouldn't appreciate her type of stand-up, because I can't stand profanity-laced comedy. She's great.
