Does anyone think Vanity would have been an excellent Deena if Dreamgirls had been made in the 80's? She had the looks and couldn't sing incredibly well so it would have been perfect I think.

2nd you. However, her voice was well suited to certain songs e.g. Samuelle, Under the influence.
