Archived from the IMDb Discussion Forums — Burt Ward

It states he only made at most $500 a week on Batman, so how did he manage to buy a huge house and car in the 'return to the batcave movie'? I make around the same amount and can't even afford to save for a house.

Both Adam West and Burt Ward in their respective autobiographies, stated that durin the years 1966 to 1968 while they were doing the BATMAN TV series, they nade much more money during their weekends off the show doing personal appearances in shopping malls, conventions and in theatres than they both made weekly making their TV show. According to them, both West and Ward made approximately $2,000.00 to $3,000.00 for each public appearance during their Batman years.

His video company was in the 1980's, not during the time of the series.
