They say an artist has to suffer for their art. This may be true to some extent but, I think it should be suffering "for their art", not suffering to survive.
I believe the artist has suffered for far too long, scratching out an existence, not being paid fairly, getting the short end of the stick, and now with streaming, getting almost nothing at all for their efforts.
Very soon now, there will be a music site/app available that will put the power back in the artists hands. It's going to make a difference in the way people show support for the artists. It's going to show a way to connect the artist and the fan like never before.
It's going to evolve the way music gets around.
It's going to change the way it is now to a very very new way.
I watched Roger Waters in an interview expressing his disgust in what the music industry has become.
I have a plan to change it.
What do you think it would take to make this a reality?
