I am so happy for her! One of my favourite, if not my favourite, performances of the year. Truly deserved nomination. I was really fearful that she would be snubbed but so so happy she wasn't! Go Jacki!!

So excited and happy for her when I heard the news! Congratulations Jacki! I'm so glad that the academy actually recognises performaces based on merit and not just how much influence actors/actresses may have in the film industry.

Agreed - this is not a political / lobbied nomination at all. Her performance will be the benchmark against which other supporting roles (particularly mother roles) will be judged 10 years from now, legend!
