I doubt you're the only person who thinks she's overrated but I'll bet you're the first person to take the time get on the Internet and create a post about someone you claim you don't like.
Oh, wait, you're not the first yutz to do that either. For whatever reason, there's a slew of people out there who seek out things they don't like online and then post bitter and stupid posts such as yours.
I'll give you this much though - you obviously know nothing about Betty's career because it does predate the 1980s. All you whippersnappers seem to forget the world existed before 1980. It was a wonderful time actually - no vapid reality shows or vaguely racist a**holes ranting because an old person they dont like for no justiable reason just won't die already. Seriously, the 80s rocked the casbah.

i dont know her past roles, but shes cropping up the last 10 years in tv shows and movies.
and i see here in this forum how much love people have for her.
mind you, i dont judge her talent
but she annoys the hell out of me!
i actively try to avoid anything shes in, i stopped watching hot in cleveland when she appeared.

yes you're right she is terribly overrated, joan rivers was beter than her by far, much more of a trailblazer and maverick comedian than white. took a lot bigger tcnaces in losing her career than white and was a far superior comedian in intellect, wit and creativity, talent, skill, cleverness.

thats something that really really bugged me about her it was irritating to me how she never reitred never even at freaking 90 years old like just go away already.
almost no actress no matter how great continues to act or do comedy at 90 or even 80 years old, it was patheic how she never retired.

Most of George Burns' fame began starting around the age of 80. I guess you aren't really a fan of his since you didn't know that you ****ing idiot.
At the age of 79, Burns had a sudden career revival as an amiable, beloved, and unusually active comedy elder statesman in the 1975 film The Sunshine Boys, for which he won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor. Burns, who became a centenarian in 1996, continued to work until just weeks before his death of cardiac arrest at his home in Beverly Hills.
