(which I did when I was young lol; I thought he was smooth; it wasnt so much his looks)
than l16d0et them. Its not some unwritten rule. lol - Whatever you decide to do, always known that you cant ultimately change someone else's opinion; especially an opinion like that. Its not going to work, sorry.

This thread is really interesting because they have been playing alot of Stephan episodes and I was just thinking how cheesy it sort of was. Even though it was a little much to me, it did let everyone see Jaleel was a pretty cool, stylish guy in real life. I think it stopped him from getting stereotyped too much by fans and casting directors.

I know speaking in a more deeper tone vibrato must of been a nice change for him. When he was young, playing Urkel was rather easy because he had a high voice, but notice in the later seasons he had purposely change his voice into the one we know now. The way he switches into both voices are impressive.

I totally agree with you. Family Matters was one of my favorite shows. But when Steve turned into Stefan on the show they did make like he was all that. He's not attractive at all. He's funny looking. He has big eyes and a big nose.

Does everyone have to be extremely attractive to be on TV? No. Jaleel was a very nice looking individual, but most importantly created a funny and lovable character, Urkel, and has done countless voices. He is multi-talented and that's all that matters. There are not that many people who accomplish that much at 30 years old and counting. (Yes, our Urkel wil238l be 30 this November).

i used to have a little crush on him for like a month and i thought he was hottt even as Steve Urkel. i still think hes the best looking black guy out there that ive seen except for maybe my old friend Andre. perhaps maybe a little more attractive than Andre though.

I know. I never thought Stefan Urquelle was all that either. But I guess they exaggerated people's admiration of him on the show to make it "funny". I like Jaleel as Steve though. He was freaking born to do that role!
