Do you think that pissed him right off? He could have gone to even starring in "Saved By The Bell" which actually he did audition for and didn't get the part, but had a successful audition for "Good Morning Miss Bliss" but unfortunately was ousted out probably by Mark Paul Gosselaar.
I would be pissed off if I were him.He could have been bigger.Saved By The Bell ruined a lot of people (Like Max Battimo and Heather Hopper) -

No, he wouldn't have. Family Matters was bigger than Saved by The Bell and ran longer and was in prime time. Saved by The Bell was just a little silly Saturday Morning show which according to Mark Paul Gosselaar, was canceled each and every season and then b238rought back. He said the viewership in its original run wasn't good but became big when it hit syndication in the mid 90's. The actors on the show got fame but their salaries were awful for the majority of the show's run. It worked out best for Jaleel.
