Alaric's intern had killed someone in some hit and run accident , After she died , her soul or spirit was suck away, just like what happen to Katherine's Spirit .
At least we now know what really happen to Katherine's soul .
if Nina Dobrev return for the series finale , I wonder if we can see Katherine again , i think Katherine can talk her way out of Arcadius's punishment . -

You mean everyone who didn't find Peace. Lexi and Grams went into the white light. Jenna and John found Peace early on and I've always wish we could see even a second of that. Liz is there now too.,,

Yes they are all there in Cade's Hell. That means they can bring back characters from previous seasons including Tyler maybe Mason, Jenna. I would like to see Katherine she is there too. And yes now we know what happened to her.

The only part that I don't get that how Katherine, or anyone else's souls could still be intact there for the saving. The Siren's eat bodies, but Cade was said to "eat" souls. Shouldn't that blink them out of existence? Or is that just a way of saying he possesses them in eternal damnation?

JP has confirmed Jenna has found peace, so I don't see Jenna returning unless in some flashback with Elena/Jer. Mason is kind of irrelevant aswell, I think we'll see Tyler in hell, aswell as Vicki and Georgie, not sure who else though. Katherine entirely depends on Nina coming back, which i'm not sure will happen
