At last, I have a chance to tell people how cool this guy is! And it appears that no one will care. I had a serious crush on him a few years back and finding out anything about him was a challenge. About all I really know is that he grew up in Africa. I found that interesting, but not terribly enlightening. Best role is definitely in Ivanhoe. That's the one I fell in love with. He plays the bad guy so well, but can be quite loveable, too. I can't understand why he's not more popular and not in more movies. Go figure.

Hi bitty, I've been a fan of Stuart's since his Dulcima days and have managed to watch nearly everything he's done. I have a reasonable amount of his work on tape somewhere about the house although I've edited a good deal of it into parts I like watching. My favourites are 'Romance on the Orient Express', 'The Strauss Family', and although I thoroughly enjoyed watching him as 'Alexi' in 'Anna Karenina' I could merrily have strangled Anna (well played by Nicola Paget'. His more recent work in the States has been so watchable. I look forward to seeing him back on the stage using his English accent again.
He is extremely talented and appears not to seek 'fame'. I care that you want to tell people how cool he is. It's so disappointing when one mentions his name to people and they say "who?" Did you see him with Vanessa Redgrave when he played the policeman investigating a suicide/murder? Super! Film was called 'Wetherby'. Best wishes. Flynbron
