What kind of house would you like to live in?

You're definitely consistent, that's for sure.
Surprise. There are pine trees in Hawai'i! At least in a few locations, if not very popular. When I lived in Maui, one of the first things they wanted to show me was the volcano in Iao Valley because of this "really cool tree" that was up towards the top. We drove up and I'm looking around, quite confused. It was a pine tree! They were in awe and I stool there a bit like a confused fish out of water and laughed. The pine tree was so unusual for them, but they do exist there.

I keep reading this as "What kind of house do you live in?"
As much as I'd love to live on the east coast near the water, I can't see myself ever leaving this house. I love living here.
I've just inherited a house and have the task of emptying it. Total nightmare. -

I'll stay in this house and will most likely live here until I'm dead or too old to live here on my own. Been here 36 years and I'm quite attached to the house and neighborhood.
The house I inherited will be sold.
I'm currently finding all kinds of wonderful things such as my grandfather's journal from the 1930's. -

Sounds like a great plan. I'm really happy with the location of where I live. I still fantasize about a log cabin style house or a Victorian house and have ever since I was a child. I guess my tastes never really changed. But I'm happy where I live just like you are. We've grown our roots.

I’d want to live in a small house out in the country, because then there’d be less space for me to take care of. I’ll pass on a fancy mansion.
