is there any truth about him getting paid for presenting the show each year???? all the celebs that appear on the show dont get paid and are there to help out with the fund raising! but i heard that wogan is the only person who gets paid???? such a greedy bastard if that is true

I'm not sure he could be described as a participating celeb in the same way that most of the others are. He's a presenter, so was paid, just the rest of the production team were.
As you say, Burkhill, he is/was paid by the BBC, not CiN; in any case the pay is equivalent to only a fraction of the moeny raised through his radio programme, the TOGs calendar etc - the 'Janet and John' CDs alone, made from clips of the radio show, have raised around 1.6 million so far.
