I would love to see her on Larry King talking about the early years with Ronald Reagon, yet I have never seen her on anything, I know she is elderly but from what I understand she is still in good health.

Jane did make occasional talk show appearances in the 1960's and 1970's. She made a memorable one on DINAH in 1978 in which she, Shirley MacLaine and Dinah Shore seemed to have a lot of fun yakking together. After her "comeback" in FALCON CREST in 1981, she rarely made talk show appearances in part because of her love of privacy but mainly not wanting to be asked about her former husband Ronald Reagan who was now President. Some exceptions from this period howevb68er include several guest appearances on HOUR MAGAZINE in which she discussed her career (she was even guest assistant host one week and participated in a Halloween episode dressed as a witch!) and the day after Rock Hudson died she consented to a interview with CBS NEWS THIS MORNING to discuss her happy experience working with him on two films.

She wasn't in good health at all, not sure where you had heard that rumor. Towards the end of Falcon Crest she suffered a major diabetic stroke. Was hospitalized for quite some time recovering. It was against her doctors wishes that she even returned at the end of the season. She was able to recover somewhat after that, she made a guest appearance on Dr. Quinn playing her mother. But after that her health started to go downhill steadily, when she was contacted to reprise the role she wasn't able to. Ib68n 1998 she did an interview for TCM at her home in Rancho Mirage. In 2001 she went to her daughter Maureen's funeral services and was almost unrecognizable required a cane to walk and was very thin due to her 40+ year battle with diabetes and rheumatoid arthritis. That was her last public appearance before her passing.
