The final minute of Anton's life was horrific. He was being crushed to death, he couldn't breathe, and I'm sure he knew he was going to die. Maybe the last thing he saw in his mind's eye was his parents.

It was due to a known fault with the car, so it's really not hilarious in the way you assumed.

Well, it was his personal camera security footage, right? So it would be hard to leak because I'm assuming only his family/friends/people with access to his house/possibly police would be able to access it. I like to think nobody in that category would be releasing such things although you never know.
It would be helpful for the cause to be investigated, if it shows anything. But it might not elucidate anything about the state he left the vehicle in and why.
I'm guessing it's with his family. Which is horrific for them. -

Anyway, yes, it's very ironic he ran himself over with his own car. Also ironic he's an eastern European. You're right, the video will probably end up on ebaums world with all the other stupid Russian traffic crashes. -

I'm just wondering how he didn't hear it rolling backwards towards him . Is it a silent car ? Surely it could have been prevented in many ways. He must have had his backed turned to where he couldn't see it and it pinned him . My guess , he hit his head on the gate and it knocked him unconscious .

If a car is in neutral and the car is off Yes the car moving can be silent. I probably forgot to pull the ebrake on my jeep a few times Only to jump back in real quick to grab the ebrake. You don't even hear the car, you just see it moving very slowly at first that you could almost miss it if not paying attention. I think that's what happened here. Didn't hear it, didn't notice it slowly beginning to roll as he walked to the gate It probably picked up speed and before he knew what to do, was pinned.
