I just take solace in the fact that people who do these things are more than likely unhappy. And it's likely that no one cares about them, so they don't care about people in general.
There is no way a happy, well-adjusted person would take time out of their day to say that stuff. I just looked through some of the threads, and a few people have been making hateful comments since Sunday. They've gone out of their way to check the board and make comments everyday so far. At the same time they're claiming that they don't care about it. It's bizzare and pathetic. But that's the internet. It's where people come to feel important.
    Boredom is bullsh#t.

They're called trolls and they're starving for attention. Please folks let's not feed them. They're everywhere.
I loved AY as the young Kyle Reese and as the new Chekov, and I really loved his role in FIERCE PEOPLE and ALPHA DOG.

Generally speaking, people that crap over the recently deceased (that didn't do anything to deserve ire, mind you) usually have problems with their own self-image.
It is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing
        .

This is very true. Happy people don't feel the need to crap all over everything.
The miserable people don't realize how they are really coming off. They think they are "winning", but the only thing they are "winning" is pity.

Worse than those who disrespect the dead, are those who disrespect the living. There is no reverence generated by the dead. They are dead. But people who cry about those who make comments, are worse that the ones making the comment. Speaking your mind is a fundamental freedom here in America. If you're offended by the words of someone you don't know, speaking about someone you don't know, well that's just absurd and pathetic. Feeling you need to police the community for dead is just plain stupid and arrogant. Get a life!!

                    attention seeking IMO.
Best to take no notice, they'll feel it one day.

You are absolutely right. What is going on here - the jumping to stupid conclusions, the disrespect - is a bloody shame. Anton Yelchin was a human being, not just a character on a movie screen. He had family and friends who are mourning him, who are devastated because of his tragic early death. 2000He and the ones who loved him deserve respect.

The same thing happened in the Robin William's board.
People were saying he died of auto-erotic asphyxiation b/c he made a movie called "World's Greatest Dad" where someone died that way.
Then when that was proven wrong, they blamed his wife.
Then when that was proven wrong, they went on to the next thing to be wrong about somewhere else.
It amazes me that people, from the comfort of their own home, think they can solve any mystery just by web searches. They think they are more informed than the professionals that are actually doing the investigating. People that went to school for this stuff and are professionally trained. No, the virgin in the basement knows far more b/c he read a thing once.
