Something about him just bothers me. He's a fine actor, but I just can't stand him. Maybe its his voice that bothers me. I did, however, really like him as a young Kyle Reese in the Terminator film, he did a great job there-did'nt annoy me like he usually does. I'm not trying to be a hater or a troll, and I'm sure some Anton Yelchin lovers will attack me for this post, but I had to see if anyone else feels the same about this guy.

Do you mean his Russian accent or his American accent? Personally, I find his voice to be very soothing, but to each their own. I also enjoy him as an actor, and I'm sure he'll go very far. He definitely has the talent.

I have seen him and he acts like he was an 11 year old.
Besides,he hates been recognized and doesn't like been
approached at all,especially if you bump into him more
than one time. The only thing OK with him is that he goes
to church which I think he should go 5b4everyday so he will
change his attitude toward others. -

dont like him much. just not the best. his speech pattern is the same in every movie or character he does. he only has one way of doing each emotion. he can change his accent but in my opinion that still wasent very convincing.

I actually just read and watched Hearts in Atlantis and was very upset to see he was in it. I came on this board to see if he annoyed anyone else as much as me. I don't know what it is. He is isn't particularly bad, but I just want to punch him when I see his face in a movie. I feel like Rob Riggle feels toward Will Ferrel in Step Brothers. Anyway to answer your question, yes he annoys the crap out of me and I will try to avoid ever watching a movie that he is in again.

I am glad that you agree with me. Don't ever see his movies,his
acting is terrible and as a person he says the most cruel and evil
things, I told him that the last time I saw him in a store.
So many people dislike him since he treats people like crap,even
children don't want to talk to him. He is not attractive at all either.
He made a scandal and the store manager5b4 contacted his manager.
He is into drugs,bad drugs and takes them all the time. Not marijuana,
the other ones,likes to threaten people and the way he drives..he loses
control and puts other drivers in the streets in danger. I think he suffers
from some tyoe of psychosis. Nobody should be around him anywhere.
He is going to end up like Edward Furlong in a couple of years. -

I think people should tell the producers of Hollywood
to not put him in movies anymore. He treats people like
they were nothing- I have noticed that and all he does is take
drugs. He will end up in rehab and in the celebrity messed
up list soon. -

I'm just shocked you liked anything about Terminator Salvation.
I thought Yelchin was solid in it but man that movie fcking sucked. McG is a P.O.S director. SO much fcking potential in that movie.
Anyways of all I've seen him in Terminator was my least fave, cuz hes awesome in everything else. -

That's funny that you said you liked him as Kyle Reese. I'm watching Terminator: Salvation right now & I am finding him annoying. His voice & acting in this is very off-putting. Is he like this in everything?! If so, then I'm not a fan.

That 'thing' you just can't put your finger on - he's a lousy actor. His Russian accent sounds like a 5 year old's impression. Poor. What makes it worse is that he is from a Russian background, so the reasearch in dialect could not have been that hard for him considering the amount he was getting paid.
Christian Bale can fluctuate his weight at the drop of a hat and this guy can't even make the slightest effort with an accent.
