No, he didn't. Alan was a lovely man but hadn't worked in 15 years. A lot of times they reuse artists' work. He will be missed, but his passing is a blessing for his family and friends. He had not been healthy for years.

I don't know what his diagnosis was, but being 96 worsened it. He was sweet til the end, but it's s blessing he's gone.
