When I saw a preview to "We Own the Night" I definitely thought Joaquin Phoenix could pull off a Moz. Plus he's vegan. I don't know if Moz is vegan still or ever really was, but still, kinda the same mentality. So cool.

Daniel Day Lewis and Morrissey have always had a similar demeanour in my mind.

I can see why people say Bruce CampbellNOWI don't agreeI don't even like the guy. Personally,(and I said this on Siouxsie's board as well)I don't think there is anyone who could really pull off the personality of Moz. It's too great a persona to be captured on film by anyone other than. That's my opinion and I'm sticking to it.

I think a movie about the Smiths is unwarranted. I'd much rather see a really well made documentary made with the depth that Martin Scorsese put into his documentary on Bob Dylan. I'm not partial to Bob Dylan, but I found "No Direction Home" very riveting to watch.

                  Colin Farrell or Andrew Garfield.
Farrell did bear a resmblance to Moz with the NHS glasses on in In Bruges but Garfield who was excellent in Boy A would be good choice too.He has that awkward vulnerable shy-sort of grace and look but with (obvious) confidence in doing exactly that a la Moz.

                        Joaquin Phoenix or Michael Fassbender.
