Why the Hell is Everyone Hating on Drake?

I never understood why people hate on Drake either. Although, I have to admit the some of the memes are funny, I just don't understand where all that hate comes from.
Do you know how hard it is to find a good redbone? -

I wasn't going to hate on him till I saw Drakes performance on Jay Leno Tonight Show. It was a "singing" song, not one of his rap songs. It was so terrible. It's not often that I am motivated to get up and google a performer based on how out of tune they are. It was really uncomfortable just to watch.

People are just stupid and don't always except everyone. I wasn't really into Robin Thicke when I heard Lost Without You but ending up falling in love with his music. Drake is dope to me but to someone else he might suck because they don't wanna like him for whatever lame reason it maybe. Just think of all the haters he has more people that love the boy then don't. That's how I look at him. The world is you either hate or love a person ya know.

I think he's a good actor but his music to me is just lame. Doesn't mean that I hate him, and people who like him should not get offended if someone hates or calls him a loser, more of Drake for you to have.
There is so many different kinds of music and other artists for us to likewhy do you think that is? -

I don't hate Drake I just think he should stick to acting because he's not that great of a rapper. Not sure why many folks consider him 'legend' tier because he's about as far away from there as one can get. His songs are unappealing to me mostly, same as Nicki Minaj. Everyone places her on a pedestal spouting "She's the greatest out right now!" when she isn't either.

All of his music isn't great but for the most part, he's good. Although I think his older stuff is better. Some people hate just because he is "mainstream" and think all mainstream music sucks. Not all mainstream music sucks, just people being closed-minded and assuming.

I have nothing against him. I don't like nor dislike him. I just think he's a terrible rapper, one of the worst in a long time, and that's bad because 99% of today's mainstream rappers are terrible. This is coming from someone from Drake's hometown.

First off: Do NOT compare Drake To EM Eminem is on a different level. Secondly: Drake doesn't know what he wants to be, a singer or a rapper? He also writes beep for the ladies and talks about how tough he is when in actuality he grew up in a rich community. He's a poser and a fake, and is lucky that lil Wayne signed him because he's the reason why he's famous. Drake is quite popular and I don't know why he's overrated. What pisses me off is he thinks he discovered The Weeknd, when it's beep It was because of the INTERNET buzz.

I heard an interview with Drake on the Canadian NPR show Q some months ago, and he said flat out that he didn't grow up rich at allat one point both he and his mother, who was ill at the time, lived in the basement of somebody's home because they had nowhere else to stay. Meaning he probably had to act just to help his mother outyeah, it was a nice area, but he said they weren't rich by any stretch of the imagination. It certainly wouldn't make him any less legit of a rapper if he had been richwhether you're rich or poor, either you have the talent or you don't. Seriously,this whole outdated idea/stereotype that ALL rappers have to be poor and struggling from the 'hood is way past old and tired. I mean, hell, even hip-hop legends RUN-DMC and Public Enemy were rappers from middle-class 'hoods, and I've never heard anybody claim that THEY weren't legit because they weren't straight out of the ghettogive me a break. Not all of the first rappers were 'hood dwellers eitherdo the research.
Just came on here due to the rerun of Drake's hosting on SNLhe was pretty good, and whatever people like to hate on him for, the man c5b4an rap,and he's really blown up and grown as a rapper since thenend of story. I got into some of his stuff when I first heard "Forever" and "They Know" the first songs I'd heard by him. He's made it, despite all the haters, which is a good thing, regardless. -

JEALOUSY . THINK ABOUT IT. Who would log on to this to leave a negative comment but some Lonley broke tear drop looking for a reason to blame someone else for why their life is so beep up. And how he made life happen. And they will die sad jealous and broke..
