I can't remember, either a gay vampire or Darth Maul but I was about 11/12 years old. Of course, I still trick-and-treat but usually at the bar or adult parties. If the pandemic hadn't happened, I would be attending college Halloween party at the university I'm attending. Oh, well.
As for the gay vampire comment, my mother did the makeup on me and she tried to make me look dangerous or evil but instead I looked like trannie vampire, meaning I looked too fabulous to be a evil vampire. There wasn't enough time to redo the makeup so I went with it. Especially overdone eyeliner with eyelash extension, red makeup spot on my cheek overlay a white painted face and bright red lipstick. I said, "Uh, mom. Is that how I look evil?" with a doubt in my tone. She realized her mistakes but it's too late to do start back over.
Basically, vampire drag queen. Thanks, Mom.
What's funny that it's unintentionally ironic considering I came out to her a decade later.

There are some pictures, if I remember correctly! But I don't know what happened to them, unfortunately. I even asked my mother if there are old pictures from early 2000's Halloween, but even she doesn't know where they are.
There is one picture of my childhood friend pushing up my smile when I got mad about going out like a gay vampire. She went, Oh, come on! Smile! pushes my mouth up
You and Crystal may be right about my mother, who is very intuitive, and she may have known I may be gay before I knew myself.
But yes! Was I fabulous…..

I was like 10 lol.
I have one ex who did it for the last time at 16. XD Ironically, she had sex at 15, so I always thought it was a huge "wtf" lol.
