People were opposed to it in the past but I think he's proven he can act, he's not just a big musclebound wrestler that can't handle speaking roles.

I totally agree, and Dave Batista can also play Kratos from God of War, if they make the movie happened, people should give him a chance, after seeing his impressive performances in GOTG and Spectre

He'd be a good pick for the role. Haven't heard anytb68hing about a Gears of War movie developing though.
