Heard on the radio this morning that she and Jay Barker are now engaged. I didn't really know anything about her so that's why I came to this board. In case you don't know, Jay Barker is a radio personality for WJOX in Birmingham, AL. He played football at the University of Alabama, and was the quarterback for the '92 national championship team. Just FYI.

Actually, it was implied on the air that these two have not yet done the deed. Barker is very religious and having seen and heard him through the years, I wouldn't be surprised at all if they have remained celibate during their relationship. Maybe that's why a summer wedding is planned. So although I know little to nothing about Sara Evans, if she's marrying Jay Barker, I wouldn't think she's anything close to being a slut.

I think it's ok for her to marrying him, considers her children needs a father figure, a position that Jay Barker can provide. Beside that, both are approaching their 40's & don't wanna be alone, i think
