What did you think of it? It's a little too "polished" for me, but several of the songs are masterpieces.
This time I paid more attention to the songs I used to skip:
Maxwell's Silver Hammer
Octopus's Garden
Because
Something (I know, it was strange I didn't like it when I was younger)
I found all of them so beautiful, I liked them all, surprisingly, kinda memory lane stuff.
It is not my favorite album, though, which is Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. -

George was only allowed two songs for this project (Something and Here Comes The Sun), but both are absolutely perfect. At this point, he was easily every bit as good of a songwriter as Lennon and McCartney.

Harrison had already been their inconsistent equal with Taxman on Revolver. Harrison's Abbey Road offerings, whilst classics, are the sign of a man who's surrended some of his principled admiration for making Lennon-like songs in favour of making McCartney-like ones. It's as if Harrison's writing music according to a McCartney formula and it disappoints me that people don't see that Harrison had more integrity with Handle with Care with The Travelling Wilburys.
