Archived from the IMDb Discussion Forums — The Beatles

Decades after The British Invasion era, thousands of acts have flooded the American airwaves. Who are your favorite artists from the 60s and beyond? I like Adele, Dido, Spice Girls, Enya, BB Mack, Sade, George Michael, Culture Club, Dusty Springfield, Chad & Jeremy, The Hollies, and many more.

The Dave Clark Five !! They were very popular at the time. The only reason they didn't last like the Beatles is that they didn't change with the times. But you should google some of their songs on youtube

I like the DC5 as well. I've heard Dave and Paul are still good friends.

yes, there is one who passed away (can't remember which one) right before they were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

That was Mike Smith who did pretty much all of their vocals (I think he did them all) for the DC5. Great r&r singer!
