When I saw Are you Smarter than a Fifth Grader, I thought she was her sister. I thought, "boy they really made her look older than this on Gilmore Girls!" She even sounded the same. Then I saw her on Back to You, and I thought, "this must be the younger sister," and I was right. I can't believe how similar they are in voice and mannerisms.

I agree I came on here after watching back to you tonight because I reconized "her" and couldnt figure out where from then I found out I was thinking of Vanessa from gilmore girls.

Yes!! Watching Sarah Silverman and was wondering who she totally reminded me of. Now I know, it's April from Gilmore Girls she reminds me of. Totally looks like her sis. Beautifully natural looking young ladies.

Ha yeah, I watch Vanessa on "Switched At Birth" and I just happened to catch Laura on "Austin and Ally". I had never seen the show before, so when I first saw Laura I was like "Wow, that girl looks like Vanessa Marano Come to think of it she talks like Vanessa Marano too" then the credits rolled and I saw "Laura Marano."

Similar but Laura is quickly over-taking her sister in beauty. She was a pretty geeky looking kid but she has grown up nicely.

I recently saw a webpage that had a picture of Vanessa and incorrectly described her as Laura. Somebody made a comment that she wasn't Laura, but they didn't correct their mistake.
