I Actually met her the day befor the premier, lovely person.
I had just finished my morning run along oriental parade, and stopped off at the colonel for a little treat of two potato and gravey's two zinger works burgers and a longest drink in town caramel milkshake from the bakery next door.
i then headed over to my favorite book store (still a little sweaty i must admit lol) for a bit of a read and to eat my special banquet
Suddenly she walks in the store and sits down at the table next to mine, the room stops for a moment, i hear little murmur's "thats kate austen OMFG" but soon the room returns to its previous relaxed laidback atmosphere that us wellingtonians are famously known for.
i continue reading and eating when i look up and notice this sense of nervousness and unease on her face, she hasnt looked at her "Big Green Book of Recycled Crafts" book for quite some time, i decide as an independant observer, with no skin in the game that i would limp (whole nother story from the run) over to her table and find out whats troubling her.
I sit down and ask "whats wrong?" and offer her one of my potato and gravies. Immediatly i notice she has a magizine of the latest haistyles hidden inside her crafting book (like we used to do in silent reading at primary school), she tells me that she needs a change from the whole LOST look thats she's been sporting for years, she wants a change and see's the premier as a great comming out moment for the new Evie. As a former haistylest on xena and hercules I go through the magizine with her and together we picked out the style that all of you saw on her from wednesdays event.
Really made my week -

So it's your fault, th1354en? I will hunt you down!
Kidding.
But her hair looks HORRIBLE, even her fans HATE it. -

Listen I know you were being sarcastic in relation to hunting me down so I forgive you for this, but your comments on the style we picked are hurtful.
We went through the magazine together and picked what we thought was a bold and edgy style, something that would push the boundaries of high end hair fashion, and I stand by my choice.
It was supposed to engage people . -

Where's her stylist? Her long wavy hair was her trademark. Bad decision.
It might have looked great in the magazine, but you (and her stylist) should've considered how it would look 2000on her. Emma Watson looks FABULOUS with her pixie haircut, and it's growing out fine as hell. But that haircut would
never
work for someone who has naturally thick and wavy hair, also someone like Evangeline who is very low maintenance it just looks like a bird's nest. I'm sorry if the comments are hurtful, but I like her and seeing her look that awful like someone played a prank on her is just UGH
The hair is such a disappointment. -

I did not make the final call on the haircut !!!
In the end she was the one who had to put the stamp of approval on the look and I commend her for making such strong and brave decision because that is exactly the type of woman who she is.
I stand behind it100% -

Don't worry i think you did a nice job helping her. I like the cut, but I don't like the color, I wish she was still brunette,I think that way she will still looks like her old self but with a new style ^^. I glad you met her, thats really lucky. Take Care

You use filtered camera on talk show TV and much more make-up. Wellington appearance was a disaster. Obsolute and total. I wouldn
t mind if the character shes playing wasnt a Katniss cash in. That really riles me up. Why couldnt she find an original character to help her crossover from shampoo commeercials to movies? Easy money. Not that LOTR did anything for Liv and Sh!tto or anyone for the matter (Borelandos hype was short-lived when it was obvious he ccouldnt act or open a movie). The Hobbits will do even less for anyone. -

Good for you. I thought she was gorgeous in Lost first season (when Kate wasn
t as annoying and ridiculous bi-polar written sumbass as she became from season 2 onwards) but she aged terribly since. Terribly. And considering that actresses have all the health and beauty stuff on their disposal thats really saying something. -

So what's your point? Some people think she is beautiful. You don't. Beauty is subjective. And your strange and out of 16d0context reference to the character "Kate Austen" makes it seem like you have an oddly displaced personal issue with the actress.
And the fact that you resort to extreme terms like "terribly" gives you away. We're approaching 10 years since Lost began filming. She has had a child and aged since then. That's human.
She still looks lovely, yes, she looks older, but lovely nonetheless. And perhaps it's refreshing that she hasn't piled on the botox? -

Evangeline Lilly is beautiful. I think it's ridiculous how the first response to a thread about meeting Evangeline Lilly was a insult about her hair. People like this really aggravate me.
Glad to hear you had a lovely little chat with her - that would make my day too.
