I am shocked, SHOCKED, that as a Chopin devotee, you don't know where his heart is buried! However, your idea to make a trivia question is
brilliant!
I will do that. Thanks.

Best Cat Doorbell!

I sat this motion detector.next to.my door on the step. My cat always comes there and then scratches the door frame and weatherstripping when she wants to get in. She is tearing up the door. Well no more. This alarm tells me when she is there by singing plus the color changing alert on the receiver is just another indication. For the little.money it costs, this is a great device that acts as a cat doorbell. Hopefully in the near future, I can fix my door and my cat will have no reason to claw it again.

Sorry, that made my day…hahahaha.
Now I know what NEVER will be installed at my place.
The terror-tomcat would use that damned bell a zillion times in an hour!
Everybody here learnt very fast neither to use the curtains for Tarzan-swinging nor the sofa for claw-manicure.
A friendly Meow is enough to open the door.

The motion detector I finally bought claims to be highly sensitive. My objective is to detect people and ignore cats. I'll see if I can tweak it just right.

The detectors for spring guns are pretty good.
If you want a good alarm get a small poodle.
If you want simultaneously a good protection get a german shepherd, better two.
Just saying…and yes, just kidding also. -

My motion detector was tested just before 3am last night…by a cat! I have yet to install the second one I bought. I seriously need to reconsider the orientation.

I seriously need to reconsider the orientation.
The cat will "reconsider the orientation" also.
Sorry, should motivate instead of demoralise you.
But have the gut feeling of an upcoming detector-contest.
Hahaha. -

I still haven't figured out how the
set off that alarm. I tried the next day and was unable to get a reaction. The
didn't have access to the space where it always works. He just passed by and set it off. Maybe he's as smart as Toonces!

Oooooook, well aware it was friendly meant.
Just somewhat annoyed for different reasons.
Cats aren't idiots who allegedly drive a car with funny music. ☻
They observe YOU very well.
Next round…we'll see who wins.
Pretty sure you can outplay them or him or her.
For this you'll need to understand him/her/it.
Most easily would be to get him/her/it and throw him/her/it into water.
Never would come back again, promised.
Too easy?
Well, then go ahead.
Cats don't play fair either.
Most funny and most sneaky animals ever met.
For that I love them.
