You'd have to be a moron to fund his legal fees. He's on video shooting the guy. He's ****ed.

Even rich people are doing that now so they won't have to spend their own money.

He's innocent until proven guilty. He's got a long list of previous mates who are coming forth to give character testimony declaring that they never would have expected this as it's out of character to anything he's done or said in the past.
He comes from a very wealthy family that works in the healthcare field, so I'd assume he would have access to the funds, should he need them, for hospital bills. I'm wondering if United declined coverage for his surgery (which is very extensive based on what I can see of those X-Rays), and/or he's upset with the side-effects. One rumour running around is that the injury/surgery left him impotent and perhaps combined with severe pain and/or medication, his rage could have been enhanced. Alo, given the location of his spinal damage, it's not unusual for there to be sexual dysfunction and/or loss of bowel and bladder function. If he's dealing with all or any of these issues, it may speak to his state of mind.
All of that being said, we still don't know if this is the alleged shooter, and regardless, he is innocent until proven guilty. His family's absence, including not hiring a more competent lawyer, is sort of questionable, or at least confusing.
It's more disturbing to see people swooning over him and cheering on a man who assassinated another human being in cold blood in the back, and not out of self-defense or in the act of protection. How is it his security detail happened to not be there just then? How did this guy know where he'd be and when he'd be there? Did he keep the weapon because he had other murders planned? Too many questionsโ€ฆ
