        Really admirable.
It's a tricky one though because if you've taken a life and pay your debt to society and then turn your life around, that's really applaudable But it does depend on the circumstances of which the life was taken initially. At least for me.
If it was a cold blooded murder, you can pay your debt to society but you can never really 'pay your debt' in general, at least from where I stand because there is no coming back from murder. So for the family members of the d1c84eparted, I'm sure they wouldn't see 'Snoop' as applaudably as we do. That's why I really dislike the whole "Paid your debt to society" phrase, when in reality, it's hardly ever society that's the victim.
And I know she got convicted of second degree, but that could be down to having a good lawyer. I guess we'll have to know the actual circumstances to have a rounded opinion on her.
I'm just offering an alternate point of view. Still, she is fantastic on The Wire. Her highlight being in the opening scene of episode one, 4th season, at the hardware store. Classic.

Yeah we get it, she's the lesbian murderer who did 2 minutes in jail for taking a life and now everyone think's she's great because she's on a TV show. Oh wait, it's NOT TV it's HBO, that's different I guess. But seriously,. It's not like she's out there making a difference she's on a show playing a character named Felicia "Snoop " Pearson and she kills people and sells drugs, not much of a stretch here folks. Her character glorifies violence, the only reason anyone mentions her is because on the show she's tough, she kills, she deals, and she acts like a dude. You like that she's a killer, her glorification works.
All this "paid her debt to society" BS is sickening. People bit ch about the Enron guys, Martha Stewart, and Bernard Ebbers, just about every other white collar criminal never letting them forget what they've done; yet Felicia talks about killing someone, and selling drugs, but it's all OK because she was a crack baby, and let's not forget SHE'S BLACK!

Yes because I meant that she literally did 2 minutes. And ask yourself, is 8 years really enough for murder? If someone kills your mother and comes out in 8 years, is that ok? Now kill yourself, so I can throw your body in a cell for 8 years, DICK!

Yes I'm taking it to heart, and not because she did anything to m personally, but because I am a member of this society why aren't you taking it MORE to heart?
