Smokers

Word!
Even as a full-on addict I couldn't stand to smoke indoors or in my car.
Had a friend years ago who would smoke in her car with the windows rolled up.
She ****ing REEKED. She would smell so bad that a room would smell of cigarette smoke half an hour after she left.
It was that bad.
I am so sensitive about smell and odors that it would kill me if someone thought that about me. -

Ditto. As a former coconut juice drinker, I loathe the smell of coconuts. It sticks on peoples' clothing and reeks. It lingers and gets worse the longer a person goes without washing their jacket or clothes. Yuck. Nasty. Just nasty AF.
It's worse indoors, but even outside, I can smell it. Hell, even while driving, if the car ahead of me has a coconut diarrhea, it's nasty stench flitters back.
I'm surprised in this day and age that anyone has that nasty-ass coconut juice drink habit anymore. I don't have friends that drink coconut juice and wouldn't date someone that drinks coconut drinks cuz the coconut diarrhea is the worst smell ever.
Fixed it for you. -

after having smoked cigarettes for years, i think i really started with the age of 16, i quit smoking ca 3-4 years ago, just like that. one day i just stopped thinking of smoking and never missed it. i tried a cigarette i think at least once or twice ever since drunk/high on a night out but it tasted awfully. i never finished that cigarette and put it out after a couple of drags. now, when i smell cigarette smoke from someone else smoking in close vicinity to me, i make sure i get away from that person quickly bc the smell really grosses me out now, so i get u totally. it's disgusting.

Me whenever I go outside for a smoke…
Ngl, I actually don’t really care if I quit. Sure, smoking is harmful, but whatever. It’s not like quitting will stop me from dying. If I get lung cancer then I could just kill myself so I don’t have to be bedridden, having to see my stupid relatives come and pay me a visit while I slowly rot away each day, looking like ****in anorexic Skelator Idgaf.
I live. I die. I live again. -

well, most/many former smokers really are hypersensitive to the smell bc, idk, i guess it reminds me of all those years i inhaled that filth deliberately and therefore i'm reacting so highly strung to that smell now or sth.. i really can't see myself smoking a cigarette ever again and i want to make sure that i never will, so i'm reacting extra anti-smoking to smoking people. i think that's why.
i remember, before i even started smoking, as a young kid, i quite enjoyed the smell of cigarettes whenever my parents or whoever smoked in my presence, kind of like how i enjoyed the smell of gasoline at gas stations when we were on a family trip and stopped by one.

lol @ that gif
my parents used to smoke, but they both quit at some point. then my big bro started smoking with the age of 17 or 18 when i was 12 and i even asked him if he could let me have a drag back then, but he wouldn't do it, the good brother that he was. however, i eventually smoked my first cigarette with the age of 14, and ended up not liking it actually, only to start regularly smoking 2 years later bc of peer pressure and whatnot at my school. half of the kids were smoking, the other half wasn't, but the smokers were mostly all the "cool" kids, and i always wanted to be one of them and so i started smoking myself.
i've never become really that addicted to nicotine tho bc i've had phases when i would smoke no cigarettes, then i had phases when i would smoke a lot and in the end i eventually just tapered off my daily dose of cigarettes until i've literally stopped thinking of smoking altogether, and that was that. i never had withdrawal symptoms or anything and i never had to force myself to quit even after 5 to 6 years of on off/regularly smoking. lucky me!
