I see IMDB has her DOB listed as 1979.
Fair enough - her role on corrie doesn't exactly include making her look glamourous and youthful but she and Simon Gregson (Steve) look the same age to me.
Her acting - especially scenes where Becky is painfully close to Roy 'invading his personal space!', is up there with the best Corrie actors.

In 2014 she was 35.
She's 37 this year.
With the right make-up applied someone in their mid-30s can either look as young as a 17-18 yr old or as old as someone in their 50s (maybe even older with specially applied make-up).
