I just set to return like $200 of stuff to Amazon so I can get a fancier children's jacket after buying a ski jacket not long ago, you know for kicks or "****s and giggles."

Yes, that's probably it. We have an unused fireplace hiding behind our own sofa.
I remember in the late 1990s in North Florida where we had to stand right next to the heater, to feel its effects. It was cold in South Florida, but we lived in an apartment until after that then.
