The last few movies I wanted to watch on my prme account you cold only watch by signing up for an HBO plus trial or some sht. So fck Bezos I cancelled.

I disagree. Not all video store clerks knew the movies and they didn't always make good suggestions. Also, with video stores the film you wanted may not be carried by the store and may not be in stock. You had to go to the store, pay to rent the movie, then return it after watching it. Streaming is more convenient. It is actually less expensive if you watch a lot of films. For $5-12 a month (depending on the service), you can watch as much as you want. If you rented 4 movies at blockbuster in a month, you would be paying more than that. And some streaming services are well organized and have a good layout and functionality.

I had Blockbuster Moviepass or whatever it was called. Flat rate every month I could rent as many movies as i wanted and the selection was a hell of a lot better than Netflix, including all the new movies, which you get NONE of with netflix anymore.

Not necessarily. You still have to go to the store, find the movie you want in stock, and then return it afterwards. There were lots of movies that Blockbuster didn't carry and they would often be out of stock of the popular ones.
