Traffic was a lot lighter, which was nice.
For a while, the price of heating oil came way down, which was nice.
I and lots of other people got a stimulus check. In my case, I didn't really even need it, but it was free money, so what the heck?
I got to keep my distance from people… by government decree, and not just because I wanted to.
I got to hang out in Jayman's cool chat room.
I rediscovered how great it is to have really short hair - I had to wait so long for a haircut (nearly 5 months?) after the first Covid lockdowns that by the time I got in to a shop to get it cut, I just wanted a buzz cut. I haven't had it that short since I was in boot camp. Now I'm keeping it that way.
