    I loved her 1980s look. And I loved how she gave Leo DiCaprio a run for his money in the acting chops. She was like a very young Lorraine Bracco in this movie!
    I should warn you he's a Fourierist.

          Yes!! I may have a Cristin bias, as I'm starting to love her, but I thought she was also the most likable character in the movie. She embodies Leo's good side/roots. Not a lot of money, works as a hairdresser, but still smart and gives Leo a few bits of advice to help get him ahead. Unfortunately, by the time he leaves her, he's completely gone from his roots. I wish she'd've gotten a nod further down the line, even just a shot or two of her watching his fallout on TV.
          Also, just wanna point out how easily another actor could've made that bit role into a stereotype. Cristin really excelled with the little time she got. Here's hoping Hollywood notices too!
